The LAC of Lugano, the beating heart of Ticino culture, presents a series of unmissable events that promise to enchant and involve the public in a journey through music, cinema and theatre. From Nosferatu the vampire reinterpreted in a musical key to Giuseppe Giacobazzi's comic monologue, up to the intense theatrical performances, there is something for all tastes.

On Tuesday 9 April, cinema and music lovers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the gothic and evocative atmosphere of "Nosferatu the Vampire", a masterpiece of German expressionist cinema. The multi-screening, enriched by the musical reworking curated by director Fabrizio Rosso, will transform the film into a unique sensorial experience. The Ensemble900, directed by Francesco Bossaglia, will give life to a symphony of horror, in which the notes of composers such as Alban Berg and György Ligeti will merge with the images to create an innovative and compelling work.

For those who prefer smiles and fun, Giuseppe Giacobazzi will take the stage at the Palazzo dei Congressi on 9 April to present "Il pedestrian". In this show, Giacobazzi will guide the audience on a journey through the events of everyday life, comparing it to a game of chess. Through his brilliant and engaging monologue, Giacobazzi will once again demonstrate his ability to mix comedy and reflection.

From 12 to 14 April, the Grease Theater Hall will be the stage for one of the most beloved musicals of all time: "Grease". With its unforgettable songs and overwhelming choreography, this show will take the audience to the nineties, immersing them in the atmosphere of rock 'n' roll and pajama parties. Under the expert direction of Saverio Marconi, the musical is renewed while keeping its energy and fun intact, giving the public an unforgettable evening.

Finally, from 12 to 14 April, at the Foce Theatre, it will be possible to attend "I'm not a hero", a show that addresses the theme of contemporary heroism through physical theatre. With its originality and humor, this 2023 Performing Arts Encouragement Award-winning production offers a profound and thoughtful look at the concept of heroism and the challenges of modern life.
