“With the subscription of three million euros, the first phase closes – declared Massimo Gianolli, president of The Hill of Cherry Trees – and the second round begins, which will address (as well as those who have already subscribed) also the subscribers who were excluded from the first collection and many others who in the meantime have expressed an interest in participating in the project”.

The corporate vehicle to which the subscribers adhered was set up in December under the name of "CLUB DEAL LCDC SRL", appointing Sole Director of the company Sergio Albarelli, former CEO of Banca Azimut. Advisor of the transaction the Corporate & Investment Banking team of Ceresio Investors, led by Alessandro Santini.

“The main objective of the Club Deal – Gianolli explained – is not simply of a financial nature: with this direct investment instrument, in fact, we aim to support and implement a new form of business innovation in the wine and hospitality sector.

A goal based on a winning and profitable relationship both for those who invest and for the company that opens up to external capital”.

“It is one of the very first club deal operations in the wine sector in Italy - recalled Sergio Albarelli - well accepted by the underwriters in this first part and we expect it to continue with the same success, in front of an audience of investors - entrepreneurs, managers, professionals – attentive to the duration of the operation, but also to an aspect that is much appreciated today: the land, authenticity and spontaneity. In a word: wine, in compliance with fundamental principles such as the factors of social and environmental sustainability. We are really satisfied with this operation, which will continue over the next few years".

Among the 18 subscribers to the first 3 million euro round are entrepreneurs, top managers, consultants and professionals, "whom I would like to sincerely thank - commented Gianolli - and to whom we welcome to the world of La Collina dei Ciliegi". The new investment program of the La Collina dei Ciliegi Group provides for the acquisition of new land and the planting of almost 5 hectares of “Supervalpantena” vineyards as well as support works, including the automation of emergency irrigation with a satellite system.

Hence, the construction of the new Erbin cellar, an ambitious project in full compliance with the environmental criteria and objectives also contemplated in the PNRR, which provides for spaces dedicated to vinification, drying, refining and packaging of DOC and extra wines -Doc produced by the farm. Also on the floor is a new showroom with point of sale, offices and the new vault for the Club en Primeur, the investment project on fine wines with the La Collina dei Ciliegi label. The investment program in the wine sector is completed by the purchase of technologically advanced agricultural systems and equipment with the lowest possible environmental impact. Standing out among these are the system for controlling the temperature and humidity of the aging area and of the individual wine vessels, but also the Bakus Vitibot, the straddling electric robot for managing vineyards in totally sustainable ways.

Finally, the investments aimed at expanding the hospitality and services offered by the Ca' del Moro Wine Retreat Resort & Restaurant: the construction of the glamping, the swimming pool and the expansion of the area dedicated to the horse experience. “The start-up phase is over: 11 years of sweat, work, dedication and heart. Today La Collina dei Ciliegi is placed in the national production panorama with 58 hectares of property in a single body between 450 and 700 meters above sea level, 33 hectares of vineyards, a completely renovated and technologically advanced cellar from which 100 thousand bottles of absolute quality come out. And the Ca' del Moro Wine Retreat Resort & Restaurant which in 2022 hosted 3.000 wine lovers. Now, with the new industrial plan, we are working to structure the next ten years in an even more successful way: we foresee a rapid evolution, which will lead us to the stock exchange listing of the agri-food holding within 8 years.

All this from a strictly sustainable point of view, with organic management of the vineyards, a commitment to respect the biodiversity of local flora and fauna, the use of emergency irrigation. The low yields per hectare as well as being the basis of the absolute quality of our wines, also guarantee a longer life cycle of the vineyards. But the sustainability of the product also applies to the packaging and to the entire management of the project, from the renovations to the new buildings planned and up to the promotion of "slow" tourism and sustainable mobility" concluded Gianolli.
