With the arrival of spring, one of the most anticipated events for enthusiasts returns: “Vini al Lago”, the food and wine event that will liven up the lakeside of Muralto.
Set in one of the most suggestive landscape contexts of the Canton TicinoThe event offers an open-air tasting experience, where wine becomes an opportunity to meet and share stories about the area.
Over thirty wineries from across the canton will present a selection designed for the season: fresh whites, elegant rosés, and light reds, contemporary interpretations of a production that continues to evolve without losing its ties to tradition.
A direct meeting between producers and the public
The Vini al Lago format focuses on an informal and accessible atmosphere. Visitors will be able to engage directly with producers, learn about the stories that unfold between the vines, and delve deeper into the characteristics of the wines offered.
To underline this aspect is also Ivan Trezzini, Director of Ticinowine, which highlights how the event represents "an invitation to experience Ticino wine in a spontaneous and contemporary way", enhancing the relationship between territory, seasonality and conviviality.
The goal is therefore to bring a diverse audience—enthusiasts, the curious, and tourists—into a wine production that has been able to renew itself in recent years while maintaining strong local roots.
An event that enhances the territory
The initiative is promoted byMuralto Lago Association, committed to organizing events capable of making the town increasingly attractive for both residents and visitors.
The President Adrian Sury It emphasizes how events of this type contribute to strengthening the tourist and cultural offering, forming part of a broader strategy to enhance the area.
Alongside the tastings, the programme also includes two free musical moments: at 14pm the City Music of Locarno, while at 16pm it will be the turn of the Last Station Big Band with a repertoire dedicated to George Gershwin, The Man We Love.
