The Albergo Diffuso Monte Generoso expands its summer program with an event dedicated to promoting local products and widespread hospitality. On Saturday, July 18, 2026, the Casima, Scudellate, and Alpe di Caviano establishments will host an evening focusing on Sottoceneri craft beers, accompanied by food specialties made with local products.
The initiative is part of the process initiated by the Albergo Diffuso Monte Generoso (ADMG), a project created to promote a sustainable tourism model in the region's less urbanized areas. Today, the network brings together five accommodations located in Casima, Scudellate, and Alpe di Caviano, offering a stay experience that connects guests with the local natural, cultural, and food and wine heritage.
Ten craft beers you should know about
The evening will offer participants the opportunity to taste ten craft beers produced in the Sottoceneri region, accompanied by a selection of local gastronomic specialties designed to showcase their characteristics.
The goal is not only to offer a tasting experience, but also to showcase the growth of the Ticino beer industry through direct encounters with some of its key players. Visitors will be able to learn more about production methods, raw materials, and the distinctive features of the various labels, thanks to the contributions of the master brewers involved in the initiative.
Professionals will accompany the tastings
Leading the audience will be industry experts: Eros Ciccone, master brewer and beer sommelier, Dannis Dominguez of La Morobbiotta, Francesco Caprani of Laboratorio Birrario Ticinese, Jacopo Buraschi of Birrificio Sottobisio, and Andrea Fumagalli of Birrificio No Land.
Through explanations and insights, participants will learn about the characteristics of the various artisanal products and understand the proposed pairings with local gastronomic specialties.
Inauguration of the new terrace at Cà Nani
The event will also be the occasion chosen to officially inaugurate the new terrace of the Cà Nani Small Boutique Hotel in Casima.
The new space was designed to welcome guests and visitors and will enrich the facility's offerings, confirming the Albergo Diffuso Monte Generoso's commitment to investing in places dedicated to hospitality and promoting the local area.
Practical information and shuttle service
Participation has a cost of 42 francs per person, including the tasting of ten beers and food pairings.
Registrations will remain open until 15th July, until all available seats are filled. If weather conditions do not allow the event to take place, it will be postponed to Saturday 25 July 2026.
To make travel easier, a free shuttle service will be available from the Bellavista car park to Alpe di Caviano, from Castel San Pietro to Casima, and from Cabbio to Scudellate.

The Albergo Diffuso Monte Generoso will continue its operations after the summer with a new event dedicated to the meeting of hospitality and local cuisine.
In fact, the preparation is already underway. Terrace Festival, scheduled for the 12 September 2026, which will offer a new opportunity for meetings by showcasing the facilities participating in the project and the local food and wine excellences.
