2021 has been an extremely positive year. In particular, the Cyber Security Strategic Working Group saw a large turnout, both through webinars and during the in-person conference on October 14th—titled The New Federal Act on Data Protection (nLPD): Origins, Challenges and Opportunities —which was attended by over a hundred people.
"Due to the numerous and increasingly frequent cyber attacks against public administrations, during 2022 activities will instead focus on local authorities, with the aim - through an in-person seminar - to illustrate what needs to be done to manage their computer security is optimal, as well as how to act correctly in the event of an attack, providing them with tools through which they can evaluate their level of preparation for a cyber attack or prepare a structured response plan, also simulating realistic cases. These types of information, in a more concise form, will also be disclosed to specific sectors on the occasion of some webinars, following last year's strategy ".
Cyber safe for 2022
2022 therefore also promises to be a year full of challenges that the Cyber Safe Group will monitor by intervening where necessary with information and prevention activities: think in particular of the growing spread of cryptocurrencies, the ever-constant phenomenon of "phishing" as well as the future shortage of professionals active in the IT security sector.
