The members of the Lugano Golf Club of Magliaso elected the new committee, which immediately went into action and will remain in office until 2024.
Roberto Carlone was elected president and succeeds Sandro Patuzzo. Also new to the committee are Michele Clerici, Gabriela Cotti Musio, Maya Haug, Marco
Perucchi, Marco Puffi and Pietro Vicari.
"The new committee - let Magliaso know - shares the vision of a modern Golf Club, managed from an entrepreneurial perspective, with the aim of coordinating and meeting the needs of the various categories of members, sponsors, golfers, collaborators, authorities, associations and other interest groups through active collaboration and open and transparent communication ”.
The history of the club
Founded as a 9-hole course in 1923 along the Magliasina, it was transformed into 18 holes in 1969 by the architect Donald Harradine. Today in the world of this sport the Lugano Golf Club of Magliaso it represents a small miracle: it occupies only 32 hectares instead of the 50 normally expected for a golf course. The route is technically demanding and represents an oasis of greenery in the center of Magliaso.
