A few kilometres from Basel, in the rolling landscape of the Solothurn Jura, the Heidental Golf Club It is one of the most popular golf courses in northwestern Switzerland. Located between the municipalities of Stüsslingen and Lostorf, the club is immersed in a charming natural setting, characterized by meadows, woods, and rolling hills that line the entire course. The club's history is relatively recent but already significant. Heidental Golf Club opened in 2000 with the goal of creating an international-quality course in a region that, until then, had primarily featured smaller or nine-hole courses. The project was developed with respect for the surrounding landscape, enhancing the natural topography and integrating the course into the agricultural and forestry landscape of the Jura. Over time, the club has become a hub for the Basel-area golf community.
The 18-hole, par-72 course, designed by architect Peter Kessler, measures 6.066 meters. The varying elevations, typical of the Jura landscape, add further interest to the game and offer breathtaking panoramic views.
