The luxury camper show – Ascona LandYachting Show – will take place for the first time from 22nd to 24th September at the Patriziale Port of Ascona. The one-of-a-kind event showcases Europe's most luxurious campers, whose value easily exceeds one million francs. Vehicles that are a bit like four-wheeled yachts (hence the name "land-yacht"), "never seen before in Switzerland", assure the organizers of the GreenTravel & LandYachting company. The event benefits from the support of Ascona-Locarno Turismo.
Il salon, open to all the curious, aims to involve, first and foremost, a more than wealthy clientele - generally over 50, from Switzerland and Germany - who love traveling and living in luxury campers and who often combine this lifestyle with hobbies such as boating, vintage cars and golf.
The wide range of luxury campers on display features small and large vehicles, from 3,5 to 26 tonnes, up to 12 meters long. These are vehicles whose extra size models internally offer the comfort and design of a high-end yacht and can even transport super sports cars.
Prestigious brands such as Concorde and Morelo will be present in Ascona, as well as caravans from the cult brand Airstream. The show will host the Swiss dealers of the various manufacturers, numerous exhibitors from the Premium Camping and accessories sector, as well as stands of sponsors and local partners.
The exhibition will also feature selected campsites which have achieved recognition from the European LandYachting Excellent Places network, which offer a range of very exclusive facilities and can accommodate campervans up to 12 meters in length. The organizer GreenTravel will also present sustainable trips and destinations in contact with nature, equipped with designer apartments or chalets, accessible even to customers who do not have a camper.

The show dedicated to luxury campers therefore integrates impeccably with the image of excellence that distinguishes Ascona, offering a perfect combination of luxury and exclusive destination".
The exhibition is open to the public and has free entry. Opening hours: Friday from 14pm to 18pm; Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 18pm.
