Two new luxurious gold versions with black lacquered dials and sparkling diamonds enrich the Harry Winston Emerald collection, adding a touch of evening glamour.
When Winston opened his jewelry store in New York in 1932, the elegant aesthetic and refined geometry of Art Deco were in full swing, permeating the design language of everything from skyscrapers to jewelry. In step with the times, the Maison's contemporary cuts and settings reveal the innate beauty and aura of mystery surrounding stones. One of his favorite cuts, the elegant emerald cut, perfectly captured the bold symmetry associated with the Art Deco era, a cut beautifully echoed in the octagonal silhouette of the Emerald family of timepieces.
Emerald Black, with its delicate 17,7 mm diameter and ultra-slim case height of just 6 mm, flatters slender wrists. Despite its compact contours, the case, bezel, and lugs shine brightly with the sparkle of 53 brilliant-cut diamonds, topped by the signature truncated diamond set in the crown.
Another phenomenon that spread during this period was the birth of the sophisticated cocktail watch, a refined timepiece often set with diamonds. With their rich black lacquer dials shimmering with 47 brilliant-cut diamonds and one emerald-cut diamond, Harry Winston Emerald Black timepieces expertly recreate the allure of this bygone era. Arranged along the shape of the case, the band of diamonds winds its way through a recessed area that accommodates the magnificent emerald-cut diamond positioned at noon.
The versatility of the timepiece is expressed by the choice between elegant double-wrap black calfskin straps for more elegant occasions, or sparkling Milano mesh bracelets in 18-karat rose gold or white gold. These beautiful, flexible gold mesh bracelets are impeccably crafted and hug the contours of the wrist. In typical Maison style, diamonds add an extra touch of luxury to the link bracelet with 36 brilliant-cut diamonds set around the adjustment holes and 11 diamonds on the buckle. The double-wrap black calfskin straps also feature 11 brilliant-cut diamonds set on the gold buckle.
The Emerald Black timepieces are equipped with a precision Swiss quartz movement, ensuring hassle-free maintenance, and are water resistant to 30 meters.
