Il Italian high-end jewelry group Damiani continues its international development with a new opening in China. The Maison has inaugurated a boutique in Hangzhou, a city considered one of the Asian country's main economic and commercial hubs, as well as the capital of Zhejiang Province.
The new opening represents a further step in the brand's strategy to consolidate its presence in the Eastern market, an area that has continued to prove central to the international luxury sector in recent years. The boutique is located on the ground floor of the Westlake 66 Mall, a contemporary complex that combines high-end shopping, offices, and premium hospitality.
The 143-square-meter retail space was developed following the brand's established retail concept in other international luxury capitals. The space evokes the elegance of an Italian residence, with interiors characterized by soft lines, refined materials, and a color palette that alternates gold, beige, and brown tones, long associated with the Maison's aesthetic identity.
Among the boutique's distinctive features is the presence of Venini, a historic Murano glass manufacturer now part of the Damiani Group. The store also features a VIP lounge showcasing some of the Venetian glassworks' artistic creations, establishing a dialogue between jewelry and glass art in a setting dedicated to a high-end international clientele.
The Hangzhou opening is part of a broader retail expansion plan that focuses particularly on Asia. In recent months, the group has announced new boutiques in the Chinese city of Sanya, as well as in South Korea and Singapore, confirming its desire to strengthen its presence in markets considered strategic for global luxury.
Founded in Valenza and known for its Made in Italy artisanal creations, Damiani continues to focus on Italian goldsmith tradition as a distinctive element of its offering. The brand's jewelry is handcrafted by specialized master goldsmiths and stands out for its attention to detail, carefully selected gemstones, and a distinctive design that has contributed to the Maison's international fame over the years.
The brand also maintains strong visibility in the world of entertainment. Damiani collections continue to be worn by international personalities and new generations of celebrities, helping to fuel the brand's positioning in the contemporary high jewelry segment.
In a global context where the Asian market remains a major driver of demand for luxury goods, the new Hangzhou boutique confirms the Italian group's desire to invest in an increasingly widespread direct presence, leveraging Italian craftsmanship and an exclusivity-focused retail experience.
