From Winteler, the new electric Mercedes GLC is a revolution!

The sinuous design incorporates the most classic tradition in the new front, while the on-board management with artificial intelligence leads to unprecedented levels of comfort, dynamism and electric autonomy.

The fully electric SUV of the renewed course Mercedes-Benz It introduces a wide range of innovations. The most striking feature is its sharp styling, which ushers in a new "face" for the front end. This signature style will be progressively extended to future models of the brand, particularly notable for its redesigned grille—more compact in width, yet characterized by its broad vertical extension and large chrome frame—which is a true tribute to the brand's stylistic roots, reworked in a contemporary style.

The first version to hit the market, at the start of the new year, will be the all-wheel drive 400 EQ Technology. The GLC has been significantly expanded in size, now 4,85 meters long and featuring an 84 mm longer wheelbase. This translates into significantly increased interior space, while also offering equally advanced loading capacity, with a base trunk capacity of 570 liters plus an additional 128 liters in the front compartment.

Equally significant is the MB.OS IT system, which uses artificial intelligence to extend its control to many more on-board parameters and functions: from infotainment to active assisted driving, including on-board comfort and charging scheduling. This translates into a human-machine interface entrusted to a single screen that occupies the entire vertical area of the dashboard: the striking MBUX Hyperscreen reaches a screen diagonal of 99,3 cm (39,1 inches), encompassing all on-board information under a single glass surface, including instrumentation, navigation and infotainment, climate controls, and a dedicated screen for the front passenger.

Mercedes GLC The superior level of hospitality is further enhanced by specific active ambient lighting, which can even create a starry sky effect across the entire surface of the innovative Sky Control panoramic roof (optional). The latter is made of laminated, thermally insulated glass and features nine independently electronically dimmable zones. A sense of wellness is also increasingly prominent on board, thanks to new ergonomic AGR seats complete with new Energizing Comfort programs suggested by the on-board assistant. Among the extensive interior customization options, the Vegan Package option, certified by an external body, also features for the first time.

The new GLC EQ features adaptive air suspension derived from the S-Class combined with all-wheel steering, while the most advanced active driver assistance systems include ten exterior cameras, five radar sensors, and twelve ultrasonic sensors to interface with the outside world. This information is translated into the Surround Navigation system, which provides the driver with an immediate overview of current traffic conditions and nearby obstacles.

More specifically, the 400 EQ, equipped with two electric motors and a two-speed transmission, offers an 800V architecture that reduces charging times for the 94 kWh battery: thanks also to the maximum charging power increased to 330 kW, 22 minutes are enough for 10-80% regeneration, increasing the range to up to 303 km in just 10 minutes. The new deceleration energy recovery system up to 300 kW also actively contributes to extending the range on a single charge between 568 and 715 km according to the WLTP regulation.
