What were the main stages of the professional path that led you to the helm of SportsCars?
"I have been in the automotive sector for 32 years and for the last 13 years I have been the director for the Porsche brand in Ticino. I am always open to new challenges and the call from the Porsche Holding Salzburg group, the largest automotive retail group in Europe, to be their head for Switzerland, came at the right time. At the moment we have two companies belonging to Porsche Holding for the Swiss market: P911 AG in Feusisberg and Sportscars Sales and Service in Lugano. We represent the luxury and sports brands of the VW Group, in Feusisberg with the Porsche Zentrum Oberer Zürichsee, and in Ticino, more precisely in Lugano Grancia, we are exclusive dealers for the Lamborghini and Bentley brands. Being Managing Director/CEO of this group makes me particularly honored and confident for the future, as I know very well its great growth potential."
You also have a brilliant career in the field of car racing. What have been your most important successes and what are your plans for the future?
«As with my profession, I also have 32 years of racing behind me in the sports field, practically always driving Porsche cars in many different classes and championships. From sprint races to endurance races, up to 24 hours… This has also helped me to meet many people and many of them have become our best customers. I have always believed in car racing to expand one's knowledge and improve also on a professional level. After all, without racing, brands like Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini would not have been born. The successes that I remember with greatest pleasure are: in sprints, the victory in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, while in Endurance races, the victory in the Pro-Am class of the GT World Challenge Europe, in the company of the Swiss Alex Fontana and Niki Leutwiler, the conquest of the Manthey Endurance Trophy on the legendary Nordschleife at the Nürburgring, in a team with Kai Riemer and Mauro Calamia, which also brought us to third place overall in the Vln championship and the two class victories in the 24 hours, again at the Nürburgring. This year I put racing aside and gave priority to the new professional project as it should be. I am turning 53, so I am leaving space for young people in the Motorsport field and enjoying the good times spent with my co-drivers and all the staff of the various teams, who over time have also become great friends".

SportsCars represents two prestigious brands such as Bentley and Lamborghini. What are the company's strengths, the values it is inspired by and your growth strategy on the market?
"The brands represented, our loyal customers and our professional and passionate collaborators are the company's strong point, the brands could not be more different and have only luxury and great history in common. This diversification and the niche dimension typical of luxury products bring a lot of added value. Everything is tailor-made for the customer, from all the services offered to exclusive marketing events and in line with the requests of those who buy our products. The inclusion of new local collaborators who know our market, events and presentation evenings aimed at potential new customers, have significantly increased our sales figures at the beginning of 2025. We also have a very professional team for both brands, which make customers and those who approach our world for the first time passionate".
Specifically, what are the characteristics of each of these brands that are particularly appreciated by their respective customers?
«Certainly to name three per brand: Lamborghini excites with the performance, the sound and the extreme lines of their models, while Bentley surprises with the general luxury, the incredibly qualitative interior finishings and the unique mix of comfort and performance».

Over the years, the relationship with customers has changed profoundly. What are the dedicated services that you have specifically activated?
"A series of events tailor-made for customers and their hobbies. They range from test days on the track, or events on snow and ice, to incredibly exclusive culinary evenings, to weekends with brand enthusiasts around Europe, up to invitations to events involving art and literature. We are also always available and active for exclusive visits to factories, both in Italy and in England."
Looking further into the future, what is the current state of the luxury car market and what consequences can be expected following the ongoing global trade war?
"Unlike the volume market, which has been decreasing significantly for some years, exclusive and luxury products are holding up to the various new trends and all the crises that have occurred over the last few years. The important thing is to find a compromise to launch new technologies, also meeting the demands of customers and therefore the market. The interest and passion for exclusive luxury sports products will always remain high and will never die."
