The appointment with White Turf 2025 has transformed, once again, the frozen lake of St. Moritz into a stage of emotions and innovation. At its fourth participation as main sponsor, genesis has consolidated its presence at the world's most icy equestrian event, offering an experience that combines the charm of Alpine tradition with the modernity of Korean design and technology. The most classic means of transport – the horse – with the most cutting-edge one – GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV) Concept , for example.
The latter was in fact the undisputed protagonist of the event. GV60 Mountain, a mountain rescue vehicle, was exhibited in the Event Village. Featuring snow tracks, carbon fiber components and emergency rescue equipment, the GV60 MIV represents a concrete example of the Genesis philosophy: stylistic boldness and functionality in extreme environments. The presence of the famous Swiss presenter Christa Rigozzi, the brand's partner, added a touch of glamour to the event, attracting curious and enthusiasts.
Despite the cancellation of the first weekend of racing, the atmosphere was not affected: the public was able to experience the hospitality "Son-nim“, a Korean concept that celebrates respect and honor for the guest. At Genesis’ Public Lounge, visitors savored fine Korean teas and culinary delights in a refined setting.
Starred gastronomy between snow and ice
Another strong point of the White Turf 2025 It was a gastronomic event created by two exceptional chefs: Dominik Hartmann, two Michelin stars for his vegetarian restaurant “Magdalena”, and Andrea Bonini of “Grace La Margna”. Together, they created an exclusive four-handed menu at “The View” restaurant, offering a sensory journey between Alpine flavors and international touches. This collaboration perfectly embodied the spirit of Genesis, which also aims for excellence in the culinary sector.
Sports, motors and sustainability
The White Turf's appeal is not limited to horse riding. Between a trotting race and a skijoring challenge, the public was able to admire Genesis' fully electric models, such as the GV60 andElectrified GV70, displayed directly on the frozen lake. These vehicles demonstrate the brand's commitment to sustainable mobility, without sacrificing performance and luxury.
The presence of Andre Lotterer, three-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and new driver for Genesis Magma Racing, added further prestige to the event. Lotterer shared with fans his passion for racing and the technological innovations of the Genesis team.
An ever stronger bond with Switzerland
“Being once again the title sponsor of White Turf represents a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to the Swiss market,” said Diego Battistoni, Regional Operations Director of Genesis Motor Switzerland. “With the GV60 MIV Concept and our ‘Son-nim’ hospitality, we celebrate the fusion of technological excellence and cultural tradition.”
The White Turf, born in 1907, continues to be a unique event in the world, capable of attracting over 35.000 spectators. Thanks to partners like Genesis, the event is not only a celebration of sport, but a true festival of elegance, technology and culinary art in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
