This is how it was born. Leading Swiss Events (LSE), a name that aims to clarify the role played by the organization in the events landscape in Switzerland and internationally.

The transition to the new brand coincides with the thirtieth anniversary of the network that brings together some of the country's most prestigious events, attracting hundreds of thousands of spectators and visitors from around the world each year. The stated goal is to further strengthen the visibility of these events and consolidate their reputation as platforms for sport, culture, and tourism.

According to the promoters, the term "Leading" is not only intended to indicate a prominent position in the events sector, but also to underscore a responsibility: that of contributing to the development of new organizational standards and promoting cultural exchange beyond national and linguistic borders.

Nine symbolic events of the country

Leading Swiss Events is born from the rebranding of Swiss Top Events: nine major events in Switzerland are celebrating 30 years with the Golden Ticket competition and new international visibility strategies.

The association brings together nine events representing some of the most recognizable highlights of the Swiss calendar, spanning sports and culture.

Five belong to the sporting world:

  • World class Zurich, one of the most prestigious athletics meetings in the world;

  • Omega European Masters, a leading golf tournament on the European circuit;

  • Spengler Cup, historic international ice hockey tournament;

  • Lauberhorn Race, famous downhill race of the Ski World Cup;

  • White Turf, a one-of-a-kind winter equestrian competition.

OSI and Estival Jazz 2025These are accompanied by four cultural events of global importance:

  • Locarno Film Festival, among the most important European film festivals;
  • Art Basel, among the most important contemporary art fairs;
  • Montreux Jazz Festival, historic musical festival on the shores of Lake Geneva;

  • Lucerne Festival, one of the main international events dedicated to classical music.

These events, deeply rooted in the regions where they take place, also represent an international showcase for Switzerland. In addition to generating significant tourist flows, they encourage the movement of artists, athletes, and professionals, creating opportunities for cultural and professional exchange.

An increasingly international role

The brand refresh is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the network's global presence. The organizers emphasize how associated events have contributed over the years to shaping Switzerland's image as a leading destination for major events.

The combination of tradition, organizational quality, and international openness is one of the distinctive elements of these initiatives. The events attract a diverse audience, ranging from sports enthusiasts to lovers of music, cinema, and contemporary art.

Thanks to these characteristics, the events participating in the association also serve as platforms for the development of new talent and for dialogue between different cultural communities.

The “Golden Ticket” competition

To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Leading Swiss Events has also announced the launch of an international competition called Golden Ticket.

The prize consists of two VIP tickets to attend four of the network's nine events in 2027. The experience will include premium access, exclusive behind-the-scenes moments, and stays at Swiss Deluxe Hotels.

According to the organizers, the initiative aims to strengthen the awareness of the new brand and to involve an even wider audience, both in Switzerland and abroad.
