It will be an afternoon of pure suggestion that is scheduled at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano, where the public will be able to relive the most famous compositions of Ennio Morricone, performed in the concert theatre “We All Love Ennio Morricone”.
The event, conceived by the music producer Luigi Caiola, the Maestro's long-time collaborator and manager for over eighteen years, intends to bring back to life the most authentic dimension of Morricone's "live" performances: the one that saw him emerge from the studio to conduct, with charisma and rigor, his music in over 250 concerts around the world.
The musical legacy, between orchestra and storytelling
On stage, the orchestra ViVas! Lab — a training course specifically created for the project, with 18 strings, 10 wind instruments, harp and percussion —will bring to life a repertoire that spans genres, decades, and continents. Alongside her, some of the musicians who followed Morricone on his international tours will perform: the soprano Susanna Rigacci, the symbolic voice of his concerts; Ludovico Fulci to the management; Marco Massimi on the bass; Paolo Zampini on the flute; Maurizio Trippitelli to percussion; Peter Picone on the oboe and Alessandro Verrecchia to the bassoon.
The narrative thread will be entrusted to the actor Luigi Petrucci, which will intertwine personal stories and testimonies with the screening of extracts from the video interview “My Life, My Music”, revealing episodes and reflections on the artistic partnership between Morricone and Caiola.

The public will be able to rediscover the masterpieces that made Morricone's name immortal.
From the epic themes of “Once Upon a Time in the West”, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” e “The Ecstasy of Gold”, up to the poignant melodies of "New Cinema Paradiso", "Assignment" e “Once Upon a Time in America”There will be no shortage of pop songs like “If by calling”, a sign of the composer's inexhaustible versatility.
Each arrangement will be performed faithfully respecting the original versions approved by the Maestro, maintaining intact that evocative power that, even today, manages to blend image and sound into a single, unforgettable language.
A project born from friendship and passion
The genesis of the show has its roots in 2001, when Luigi Caiola convinced Morricone - already over seventy years old - to conduct two concerts at the Teatro alla Scala for the first time. Barbican Center in London.
From that experience a collaboration took shape that would lead to the production of 14 CDs and DVDs, among which “I, Ennio Morricone”, a monumental four-disc collection, and the ambitious international project “We All Love Ennio Morricone”, with interpreters of the caliber of Quincy Jones, Bruce Springsteen, Celine Dion, Roger Waters, Herbie Hancock, Andrea Bocelli e I-I Ma.
Lugano among the stages of a universal legacy
Organized by Studiolab International (Italy) in co-production with Dema Agency (Switzerland), the concert represents one of the most significant European stages of a project that continues to spread the artistic legacy of Ennio Morricone throughout the world, awarded theLifetime Achievement Oscar in 2007.
An event that promises to bring together enthusiasts, musicians, and new generations around a timeless repertoire—that of a composer who, like few others, has transformed music into a universal language of emotion and memory.
