The performance by Duo Kirsch, composed of talented local musicians, enlivened the meeting between the eighteen-year-olds from Lugano and the city authorities, which took place at Studio Foce.
“The eighteen years - began the mayor Folletti - represent an important moment in the life of all of us. You are now citizens with rights and duties. The time has also come for you to seize all the beautiful opportunities that will present themselves on your path. Be curious and open to news; study and broaden your knowledge: there is no shortage of opportunities for training in Ticino too ".
Studio Foce and the city of Lugano
The choice of hosting the ceremony at Studio Foce is not accidental. In fact, for some months now, the City has made the concert hall available to the young people of Lugano three days a week, letting them manage it independently.
The balance of the first months of this initiative is more than positive, both in terms of the enthusiasm of those who propose the activities and for the excellent public success achieved in the numerous evenings.
The Duo Kirsch
Guest of the evening the Duo Kirsch, Ticino musical group composed by Anton Jablokov (violin) and Stefano Moccetti (guitar). The musicians played some songs and talked with the young people, spontaneously telling their training path, the great passion for music and the choice to make this art their profession.
At the end of the ceremony, the girls and boys signed the book of honour and received from the Municipality a water bottle from the City of Lugano and the book Conoscere conoscerersi.
