With the arrival of spring, one of the most anticipated events for enthusiasts and operators in the wine sector returns: the Ticinowine Tour 2025. Now in its third edition, this event represents a unique opportunity to bring Ticino wine beyond the San Gottardo, consolidating its presence and strengthening ties with restaurateurs, wine merchants, sommeliers and simple connoisseurs.

From March 10 to 14, a group of 24 Ticino wineries will cross Switzerland, stopping in five cities to offer tastings and meetings with the public. The tour will start on Monday, March 10 in St. Gallen, then continue with stops in Rapperswil, Solothurn and Morges, concluding in Thun. An intense and strategic week, designed to enhance Ticino wine and strengthen its reputation.

The previous editions have been very successful, demonstrating the growing interest of Switzerland beyond the Alps in the wine production of Ticino. In addition to the renowned Merlot, the producers will present an increasingly varied assortment, which reflects the evolution and diversification of the canton's viticulture. The direct meeting between producer and customer will once again be the beating heart of the initiative, creating an authentic and engaging dialogue.

To make the event even tastier, there will be the Ticino gastronomic specialties. In addition to the cured meats of the Master Salumieri of Rapelli, this year the public will also be able to taste the Ticino Alpine Cheese DOP of Cetra Alimentari SA and the Merlottino, a cheese with a strong flavour produced by the Caseificio del Gottardo.
