A combination of authentic flavours and captivating melodies awaited Ticino wine enthusiasts, tourists and the simply curious, last Saturday on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The Muralto Vini al Lago event, born from the synergy between the active Muralto Lago association and the authoritative Ticinowine, with the patronage of the Municipality of Muralto, repeated the success of its first edition. From 11:00 to 19:00, the lakeside came alive with the presence of numerous local producers, offering an unmissable opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Ticino wines.
Visitors had the opportunity to taste a wide range of labels, from the freshest and ideal proposals for the summer season to the more complex and structured expressions that have made Ticino a wine region of excellence. It was a unique opportunity to get to know the work and passion that are hidden behind each bottle, talking directly with the winemakers and discovering the peculiarities that have made Ticino wines unique.
Among the prestigious wineries that exhibited their Ticino wines on the lakeside, there were prominent names such as Agriloro, the F.lli Carlo and Luca Frasa Winery, the Cantina Böscioro Winery, CAGI Cantina Giubiasco, Cantina Cavallini, Cantina Cristini e Figli, Cantina Mendrisio Società Cooperativa, Cantina Monti, Cantina Settemaggio, Cantina Silbernagl, Cantine Latini, Chiericati, Gialdi Vini, Matasci Vini, Miriam Hermann Gaudio, Moncucchetto, Paolo Basso Wine, Ronchi Biaggi, Rosselli Vini, Tenuta Castello di Morcote, Tenuta Vitivinicola Roberto e Andrea Ferrari, Valsagiacomo and Vini Angelo Delea. A highly respectable parterre that testified to the richness and diversity of Ticino wine production.
But Muralto Vini al Lago was not just an event dedicated to food and wine. The program also included moments of musical entertainment to brighten up the afternoon. At 14:30 pm, the delicate notes of the Musica Cittadina di Locarno resounded with the concert Notes at the Lake, creating an evocative atmosphere. Subsequently, at 16:00 pm, the Last Station Big Band involved the audience with its Big Band Story, a journey through the classics of the genre.
