So far vice president, from 1 January 2021 Patelli will lead the Ticino Tourist Agency (ATT). Fiorenzo Dadò is instead a new member

In October, Aldo Rampazzi resigned as president of the institution due to health problems. Taking office in 2015, in conjunction with the new tourism law, Rampazzi was an innovator, helping to reorganize the structure and bring it to today's levels, where he is able to respond to the modern dynamics of the sector. He deserves the credit for the launch of important projects such as the three-year campaign in view of the opening of AlpTransit, the new visual image and Ticino Ticket. "It has been an extraordinary five-year period, characterized by great dynamism and a renewed operational structure that I had the pleasure of seeing born". Rampazzi comments. “Unfortunately - he continues - a series of motor difficulties prevent me from continuing in this role with the right energy. I will continue to work in my architecture studio, while always keeping an eye on the tourism sector that has given me so much ".
As a new managerial figure, the Board of Directors has unanimously appointed Simone Patelli, as president starting from 1 January 2021.

Simone Patelli

Born in 1975, Patelli has a background in banking and since 1996 has been working at Campofelice Camping Village in Tenero - a structure that over the years has received top international awards - covering various roles (responsible for accounting, personnel, marketing and property management ). In 2008 he was appointed chairman of the Board of Directors of the same structure and in 2019 he became its director. In 2011 he joined the Board of the Lago Maggiore Tourist Organization (then ETTVV) and in 2012 he was appointed president of the Ticinesi Campsites Association. He has been a member of the Ticino Turismo Board of Directors since 2012 and vice-president since January 2019. In addition to tourism activity, Patelli has been a well-known face in the football sector for years after having coached important teams including AC Bellinzona.

In the meantime, the Council of State has appointed Fiorenzo Dadò as the new member of the ATT Board to replace Aldo Rampazzi.
