The Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago will welcome its guests free of charge with a shuttle boat to the port of Locarno.
The aim is to allow tourists to arrive by train from any direction inside or outside Ticino, with a pleasant and sustainable journey, away from traffic, on any day, even on holidays, when the driveways are normally very congested.

To ensure maximum comfort for guests, the Parkhotel Brenscino Brissago bought a new boat and, together with the Swiss brand Tissot, christened it "Seastar – powered by Reka & Tissot", after the famous watch model.
Sunchaser's motorboat Geneva 24 LR PSB is anchored in the port of Locarno just 500 meters from the train station. The two captains Sebastiano Salice and his deputy Mattia Falda, who manage the motorboat during the summer, welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the station, accompany them on board and welcome them with a refreshing prosecco.
There is room on board for up to nine guests and their luggage. The free boat transfer can be booked daily until 17.15 via the hotel's website. The only requirement is a reservation.
When, as often happens in Ticino, the sun kisses the summer days, a half-hour boat trip from Locarno across Lake Maggiore takes you to Brissago. “Breathe in the fresh lake air, let your gaze wander over the shimmering blue: holiday relaxation has already arrived. The picturesque Valle Maggia, for example, with its dreamy villages, is ideal for exploratory walks; or in an hour you can reach Lugano for a visit to the MASI Lugano art museum or for some shopping. But the greatest pearl of any stay in Ticino is, of course, the lake. Evenings on Lake Maggiore are best enjoyed from the hotel's idyllic terrace, in the Al Fresco restaurant, with homemade risottos, pizzas and pastas.
