The wait is finally over for all fans of Mangialonga in Mendrisiotto: the program for the 2024 edition has been officially presented, promising an even more engaging and sustainable experience for all participants.

As usual, the event will start on 1 May 2024 from the Mendrisio Covered Market, the starting and arrival point of a food and wine journey that will cross the municipalities of Mendrisio, Coldrerio and Castel San Pietro, for a total of 11 km and 12 stops gourmet along the way.

One of the most anticipated innovations concerns the "stellar" stops along the route, with the Osteria Cuntitt in Castel San Pietro and the Colle degli Ulivi added to the list of unmissable places to taste the delicacies of the area.

But Eat long it's not just a culinary experience: it's also an opportunity to connect with nature and share moments of leisure with friends and family. Thanks to collaborations with various sports and recreational clubs in the region, participants will have the opportunity to experience a day dedicated to well-being and physical activity.

The commitment to environmental sustainability is a priority for the organizers, who have introduced various initiatives to reduce waste and the environmental impact of the event. From the use of reusable tableware to the strengthening of digital communication, the 2024 Mangialonga aims to be an example of an eco-friendly event.

Registrations to participate in Mangialonga 2024 will open on 3 April 2024, with 1000 tickets available for the public and another 1000 reserved for sponsors and collaborators. The ticket price also includes rail transport from all Ticino stations to Mendrisio and back, making access to the event even easier for everyone.

Not only a moment of conviviality, but also of solidarity: thanks to the events organized by the Vineria dei Mir in 2023, it was possible to donate CHF 15 to organizations and associations active in the area, demonstrating the event's commitment to contributing to the well-being of the community.
