With a now defined program, the Moon&Stars 2026 is preparing to bring great live music back to the heart of Locarno. From 9 at the 19 JulyPiazza Grande will once again host eleven consecutive evenings dedicated to music, with a program that alternates big names from the international scene, beloved Italian artists, and Swiss performers. In addition to the main shows, the festival also confirms the free events in Piazza Piccola and the rich culinary offerings of the Food+Music Street.
The 2026 edition aims to engage a diverse audience, from pop and rock fans to electronic music lovers, and even those simply looking to spend a summer evening in the city's historic center.
The complete concert program
The calendar will open Thursday July 9 with an evening dedicated to Italian music that will see the alternation Sal Da Vinci, rkomi ed Emis Killa.
The next day, Friday July 10, it will be the turn of Swiss music with Throat, Bligg ed EifachBen.
Saturday 11th July they will go on stage Roxette, flanked by Kim Wilde, while Sunday July 12 will be up to Duran Duran and to Hurts.
The week will continue Monday 13 July with Jamiroquai e LP, followed Tuesday July 14 da OneRepublic e Jessie J.
For Wednesday July 15 the return of is expected Lewis Capaldi, accompanied by the Giant Rooks.

The penultimate evening, Saturday July 18, will see protagonists Trauff, Stubete Gäng e Homeland, while the festival will conclude Sunday July 19 with Sarah Connor e Vincent Weiss.

Alongside the evening concerts in Piazza Grande, Moon&Stars also renews its appointment with Small Square, a space that over the years has become a point of reference for those who wish to discover new talents.
Here, the public will be able to attend free performances by emerging artists and musical projects from various genres, thus offering visibility to new realities on the music scene.
Food+Music Street: Local Specialties and International Cuisine
One of the characteristic elements of the festival remains the Food+Music Street, which will accompany all days of the event.
The food court will host over thirty food trucks and bars, offering a wide range of international dishes, classic Italian cuisine, and numerous Ticino specialties.
