Milan, one of the world centers of contemporary art, is preparing to welcome the 2024 edition of miart, the international modern and contemporary art fair. From 12 to 14 April, artists, collectors and enthusiasts will come together to explore the universe of art in a context that promises to overcome conventional spatial and temporal boundaries.

Under the direction of Nicola Ricciardi for the fourth consecutive year, miart 2024 aims to expand its thematic, spatial and temporal frontiers, through new sections curated within the fair and unprecedented artistic projects scattered across the city. The theme “no time no space” embodies the goal of mixing past, present and future, capturing in the ever-changing tumult of immediate current affairs what is stable and lasting in art.

The 2024 edition boasts an unprecedented participation of 180 galleries from 28 countries worldwide, a significant increase over the previous year. This reflection of the fair's continued growth confirms its role as an essential reference point for the international art community.

Among the most interesting innovations this year is the “Portal” section, curated by Julieta González and Abaseh Mirvali, which offers small exhibitions distributed throughout the fair, offering a window onto universes and artistic practices that are only apparently distant in time and space. . Other sections such as “Emergent” and “Timescape” further broaden the artistic experience, presenting works that embrace a transversal and interdisciplinary perspective.

The collaboration with the Intesa Sanpaolo Group continues to support miart as a main partner, emphasizing the commitment to excellence and local cultural development. Furthermore, the 2024 edition will be enriched by a series of awards, acquisitions and commissions, including the fundamental Acquisitions Fund of the Fiera Milano Foundation and the prestigious Herno Award.

Miart 2024 is not only an opportunity to explore contemporary art, but also an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture of Milan, with events such as Milan Art Week involving the city's public and private institutions. miart's expanding frontiers are also reflected in its visual campaign, which challenges the limits between real and imaginary, bringing viewers into a parallel universe of reflection on the fluid nature of reality and art.

With such a rich program of initiatives and collaborations, miart 2024 promises to be an extraordinary experience for art lovers and a significant moment in the international art scene.
