At school, as a boy, my insufficiency in singing was essentially determined by a shyness, which in the presence of any person who knew my passion, prevented me from expressing the volcano of emotions I felt. For some time the bad grade in school, I was an all in all positive companion, like a kind of guardian angel of my musical treasures. Like a solitary Orpheus, I saw myself at the foot of a staircase to walk and to know in a continuous conversation with the scattered dynasty of composing geniuses, then privileged companions of my adolescence.

Next to the "radio" of the house, a glossy simulacrum in lacquered walnut, always carefully protected by a cloth, I connected to the great music ... The beloved theme of the Unfinished Symphony by Franz Schubert, almost a sort of youthful "identification", or scanned them piano notes from Ludwig van Beethoven's “Chiaro di luna” or the unattainable vocal heights of opera with Rossini, Bellini, Verdi, Puccini, Maria Callas, Tebaldi, Di Stefano, Del Monaco, Corelli and other myths.

What to do? And how to become part of that fantastic world? Dreaming of being Caruso within the walls of the house, or immerse yourself in the arena of the Bel Canto closest to our city, Milan, with its history, its tradition, its supreme theater, La Scala, which in my eyes as a young man, transiently metropolitan, it appeared as an unshakeable monolith of beauty and knowledge, to which to pour all the hopes, the considered perceptions of my limits, but also some certainty.

Then followed a long period of study, the first auditions, the first important confirmations. Without evoking the long artistic path, I will instead focus on human relationships with some great historical personalities and some institutions of the international context, who have described my identity as an artist "outside the walls", in Berlin in New York in Paris, Rome, Moscow, in Europe, in the United States, in the Far East, it must be said much more easily and very differently than “at home” in Besso, Comano or on the pleasant lake shore of my city.
