In fact, 2025 will be the tenth anniversary of his appointment. A round figure to round off a path of successes, great recognition from the public and applause from international critics. A rich path also of growth.
The future of Maestro Markus Poschner
The OSI is therefore already ready to look to the future, in the wake of what Maestro Poschner has brought to the Orchestra in the last decade.
From the 2025/26 season the Maestro will be Chief Conductor of the Sinfonieorchester Basel: “We congratulate him on this new chapter in his artistic life. Markus Poschner is an integral part of the OSI family and we will be delighted to welcome him to Lugano in the future as guest conductor”.
