Behind those walls, once animated by the voices of the children of the village elementary school, today a creative workshop takes shape, intertwining memories and new projects. Chiesa offers Christmas gifts, installations, and decorations that stand out for their originality and an imaginative flair far removed from mass-produced products.
A house in the woods overlooking the valley
The atelier's very location adds to its charm. The small building, nestled in the most romantic greenery, offers those who enter a panorama that encompasses the valley. Art that becomes concrete gesture
The work of Gianna Church It is not limited to the creative aspect. The proceeds of the activity are in fact destined to support the Bethany Fraternity of Rovio, an organization that has long been active in social work. This year, the artist has decided to renew its commitment with two special initiatives.
The first is the “First colorful, alternative and recycled Christmas”, a project that invites us to rediscover the value of reuse and sustainable creativity. Objects made from recycled materials, bright colors, and unconventional decorative solutions transform Christmas into an occasion for reflection and solidarity. A portion of the proceeds will, as always, be donated to the Betania Fraternity of Rovio.
The second initiative is the project “Roof Tiles for Rovio”Anyone who wishes can "adopt" ten tiles for 45 francs, the entire proceeds of which will go toward re-roofing the Betania Fraternity house. This concrete gesture combines art and mutual aid, in keeping with the philosophy that has always guided the workshop's work.
Tradition and future
The path of Gianna Church It demonstrates how a building that belongs to the collective memory can take on a new function, keeping alive its communal vocation. From elementary school to atelier, from place of education to center of creativity and solidarity: the transformation has not erased the past, but has reinterpreted it in a contemporary key.
