Space FoceThe 2025/2026 billboard of the Space Foce Lugano's 2019 season opens with impressive numbers: 130 events scheduled from October to January, including concerts, theater, cinema, dance, and meetings. This program confirms the cultural center's role as a hub for the region and a platform for expression for local associations, schools, and artistic groups. The second half of the season, which will run from February to June, will be presented at the beginning of the new year.

A workshop for young people

Among the distinctive figures of the season returns Random, the project that involves the kids Not only as spectators, but also as event organizers and promoters. Thanks to this formula, young audiences become active participants, with musical evenings and cultural events that blend diverse languages. Schools also find ample space with dedicated performances, guided tours, and final recitals, a sign of the increasingly close bond between Spazio Foce and the younger generations.

The musical panorama offered by Spazio Foce is broad and varied. From Gwenstival, which celebrates the twentieth anniversary of Radio Gwen with artists from all over Switzerland, at the festival Pandemonium Over Lugano with emerging metal bands, passing through Italian punk and the pop and R&B sounds of artists such as Valentina Tioli e Federico Cimini.

Among the most anticipated collaborations is the one with the FIT Festival, which brings the Swiss artist to Lugano Aisha Devi and the memory of Zagor Camillas, accompanied by the screening of a film and a concert by the CremaAlso noteworthy is the return of Peter Kernel for the twenty years of career and Lucio Corsi's arrival at the Conza Pavilion for the opening of his 2026 European tour.

Special attention is given to musical residencies, which offer emerging musicians the opportunity to develop their projects with the support of the Events and Conferences Division of the City of Lugano and the Canton.

Space FoceTheater, cinema and dance

The theatre remains a pillar of the programming with the review Home, which brings local companies to the stage with 13 new productions. The program also includes collaborations with the LAC, the FIT Festival, and family-friendly programs like the International Puppet Festival.

The cinema is curated by Agorateca, with screenings in the original language, documentaries, and guest appearances. Among the titles featured are: Becoming Led Zeppelin, presented with the participation of cultural journalist Chiara Fanetti.

For dance, the public will be able to attend contemporary performances such as Eat me by Giorgia Lolli and Sophie Claire Annen and shows that intertwine memory and identity, such as Epique! (Pour Yikakou) by Nadia Beugré.

The 2025/2026 season also marks the entry of Spazio Foce into the network PETZI, the Swiss Federation of Music Clubs and Festivals, a recognition that consolidates its role in the national live music scene.
