Positioning itself among the best locations for congresses and conferences in the whole country, the cultural center LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura has received the "Exceptional" quality seal from the Swiss Location Award 2021.
97 venues were listed for this year's Swiss Location Award in the “Congress and Conference Venues” category, but only 11 were awarded the “Outstanding” seal of quality. Among these the LAC which has collected 9.1 points.
The criteria for obtaining the seal
To meet the requirements of excellence, the infrastructures must have, in addition to a large hall, several adjacent spaces of smaller dimensions for workshops, meetings and coffee breaks, allowing the organization of medium and large congresses, as well as conferences and corporate events lasting one or more days. An integral part of the architecture designed by Ivano Gianola, the event rooms of the LAC are distributed on all floors, they can be combined or divided to meet different needs, in terms of both capacity and style, allowing you to have a private environment or a large room, as well as to switch from the rational design of a furniture minimalist to the exciting harmony of a Renaissance cloister.
The Swiss Location Award 2021 was awarded by a jury of experts with a preferential vote of 27 people, including organizers and visitors.
