The SÉLECTION 2024, the centerpiece of this festival, is made up of 6 exceptional productions, carefully selected by the artistic director Julie Paucker. This event not only celebrates the linguistic and cultural diversity of the Swiss theater scene, but also offers a platform for discussion and discussion among the public, professionals and artists from every corner of Switzerland and beyond.
Among the scheduled productions, works ranging from Concept of preparation for a miracle up to the contemporary interpretation of The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, promising a variety of shows capable of satisfying the most diverse tastes.
Side program: “Future!”
This year, the supporting program focuses on the topic of the future in cultural policy. Through feminist workshops, speed dating meetings on the lake and debates on the Ticino theater scene, the aim is to stimulate deep reflection on the future directions of culture and theatre. At a time when the courage to look forward is fundamental, “Future!” aims to be a catalyst for change and innovation.
