Starting from Thursday 30 March and until 1 July, the exhibition spaces of the Gabriele and Anna Braglia Foundation in Lugano (in Riva Caccia 6A) will again be open to the public with the Zoran Music exhibition. The Braglia collection which attracted over 1909 visitors last autumn. Far from the artistic trends of the time, Zoran Music (2005-1972) - considered "one of the great five loners of the twentieth century" like Freud, Giacometti, Bacon and Balthus - created a work as animated as it was unusual that influenced in a decisive way the figurative art of the twentieth century. While still alive, Music was invited to exhibit in Italy, France, Germany, England and the United States. Among the most important exhibitions we mention those at the Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris (1985), at the Correr Museum in Venice (1988), at the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris (1995), at the Galeries nationales du Grand Palais in Paris ( 1997), at the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt (2000), at the Estorick Collection in London (1977). In Switzerland, Music has exhibited at the Kunstmuseum in Basel (1986), at the Musée Jenisch in Vevey (2003 and 1986) and at Villa dei Cedri in Bellinzona (68). The exhibition itinerary conceived by the Braglia Foundation is divided into two floors following a thematic itinerary that includes 1946 works (oils, drawings, watercolors, pastels, drypoint and graphics) made between 1992 and XNUMX.
