It is an exclusive journey into the history of Italian creativity, through the secrets of high manufacturing, that which Damiani has unveiled in Milan with a large exhibition, at Palazzo Reale: a project with a strong cultural value which, showing the precious creations of the maison for the first time gathered together, it retraces the most significant stages in the evolution of Italian customs.
With an exhibition concept of great impact, Damiani accompanied visitors to discover the Italian know-how through the jewels of the maison, which represent one of the highest examples of Italian goldsmith art in the world. They are unique pieces born from the passion and craftsmanship that the founder of the company passed on to his grandchildren, Guido, Giorgio and Silvia Damiani, as well as the master goldsmiths have handed down to new generations.
It is an artistic heritage of exceptional value that presented by Damiani with an evocative itinerary, divided into the Halls of the Tapestries on the Noble Floor of the Palazzo, which once housed the Royal apartments. The history of the Italian costume reveals itself, age after age, through the jewels of the maison and the masterpieces awarded with the most authoritative awards of the jewelery, and then ends with a refined and unexpected tribute to Queen Margherita, the first sovereign of united Italy, who he often lived in the Royal Palace during his reign.
