In the heart of Ticino, where pristine nature meets human sensitivity, there is an association that for a few years has been building a network of hope and support for the protection of animals in need. This is ANIMALEALE , a nonprofit organization founded in 2021 from the vision and passion of three extraordinary women: Elena Beltrami, Ivana Gabrilo, and Vicky Mantegazza, along with Francesco Masino. Their unconditional love for animals has given rise to a concrete project focused on animal protection and the well-being of our Canton's most vulnerable creatures.
ANIMAL is not just a name, but a true bastion for those who have no voice. Its mission is articulated on several fronts, all aimed at ensuring a dignified life for abandoned or struggling animals. Among the main activities are the relocation of animals who have lost their families, financial support to cover veterinary expenses, medicines and food, the promotion of conscious adoptions and the dissemination of ethological and veterinary information, essential for educating and preventing situations of hardship. Every action is permeated by a profound respect for life and a tireless commitment, made possible also thanks to the daily and passionate work of volunteers, who with dedication offer time, energy and skills to give a second chance to those who cannot ask for help.
A milestone to celebrate: 51 lives saved
ANIMALEALE 's work has already produced tangible and moving results. From September 2024 to June 2025, 51 animals were rescued, cared for, and welcomed into new families. This significant number testifies to the effectiveness of their work and the importance of the contribution of those who believe in the cause. This milestone isn't just a number; it represents 51 stories of rebirth, 51 gazes that have regained confidence, 51 tails wagging again.
