Where did the “100 Hearts for the USO – Every Beat a Symphony” initiative come from?

The initiative was born last fall with the idea of ​​building something that went beyond simply supporting an orchestra. We wanted to create a community of people and local organizations who shared our vision and believed in the cultural and human value of the United Soloists Orchestra. "100 Cuori" was therefore conceived as a concrete gesture of support, but also as a way to make people feel part of a growing artistic project.

What is the most significant result emerging from this journey today?

The most beautiful aspect is the network of relationships that is being created around the orchestra. There's attention, participation, and a desire to be there. This is very important to us, because it means that music can still be a meeting point, a shared space capable of uniting different people. Ultimately, the most valuable result is not just the support received, but the sense of belonging that is developing.

For those who aren't familiar with it yet, what is the United Soloists Orchestra?

The United Soloists Orchestra is a young artistic group founded with a very specific goal: to promote outstanding young musical talents, bringing together musicians from diverse countries and offering them a space where each can express themselves, including as a soloist. At the same time, the United Soloists Orchestra is a dynamic artistic platform that develops collaborations, musical productions, and symphonic formats designed for diverse audiences and contexts. The goal is to make symphonic music more accessible, vibrant, and exciting. It is a growing artistic project with a long-term vision.

So what is the vision that guides this project?

Our vision is of an orchestra capable of respecting the great musical tradition, but also speaking to the present with a more open and engaging language. As our Director, Arseniy Shkaptsov, says: "We are not trying to save classical music. We are building something new, that respects tradition but transcends its boundaries." It's a phrase that perfectly captures our spirit: bringing artistic quality, but also energy, closeness, and contemporaneity.

What will be the next steps?

«Among the next steps is certainly the desire to strengthen and structure the community of supporters that is being created around the project. In this direction we are creating the USO Friends association, with the aim of bringing together and promoting the people and economic and institutional entities of the area who believe in the path of the United Soloists Orchestra and wish to support it.

A significant moment is the first event at the end of May of the "Moncucchetto in Musica" series, created in collaboration with our orchestra. It marks an important opportunity for gathering and sharing, as well as a way to thank those who have supported us and continue to do so. At the same time, new projects and collaborations are being developed, with the aim of consolidating our activities and engaging an ever-wider audience in a shared journey of growth.
