Elisa Association Grand Gala Palazzo Mantegazza Lugano November 2025The proceeds of the evening were used to carry out important projects, starting from the Elisa Foundation, Locarno, to provide assistance to families of children with serious illnesses: financial and psychological support, school reintegration, and home care. The contribution to Casa Santa Elisabetta will go toward expanding the garden, a natural educational space capable of promoting relationships and the well-being of the children and mothers living there. Furthermore, the Croce Verde, a historic welfare institution deeply rooted in the history of the region and in the hearts of the Ticinese, will provide devices for the transport and restraint of newborns and children up to 10 years old, and several Ferno XT extrication devices for the safe transport of people with suspected spinal injuries. Finally, support will go to the Autismo Svizzera association, which presented the "Concerto inaspettato" project aimed at highlighting the power of art as a tool for visibility.

The evening was marked by conviviality, featuring exquisite culinary delights prepared by the chefs of the META restaurant, accompanied by captivating background music and emotionally impactful video presentations. Guests were welcomed by a stunning choreography by Dahra Home, inspired by La Scala in Milan. It was against this captivating backdrop that the evening's star performer, dancer Luca Gori, trained at the Rome Opera House Dance School, brought a wealth of professional experience, performances, and appearances with leading dance companies. The theater hall also hosted, to great acclaim, a performance by the young people of the Pop Music School, directed by Mauro Masrchesi. The gala's host was the beautiful and talented Julie Arline, once again showcasing her elegance and charm.

Elisa Association Grand Gala Palazzo Mantegazza Lugano November 2025The Elisa Association extends heartfelt thanks to the sponsors who made the organization of this Grand Gala possible, to the friendly companies who with their generosity provided the prizes for the lottery, and to all the people who, through their works or donations, facilitate its task every day and stimulate its mission.

The Elisa Association helps children suffering from serious illnesses, such as leukemia, malignant tumors, AIDS, congenital disorders, diabetes, and so on. These children and their families require hospitalization in Ticino's healthcare facilities, but also require some form of financial assistance to afford the required treatment. While Ticino generally offers excellent healthcare and guarantees a high level of care, there are still situations of material and spiritual need, which, not surprisingly, affect people already weakened by long and serious illnesses. Indeed, the serious illness of a child causes many problems and difficulties that families are burdened with, disrupting their lives because they are not covered by social insurance. It is precisely with this in mind that the Elisa Association operates, having helped hundreds of children for over 26 years and planning to carry out even more extensive and widespread work in the future, with the support of numerous donors. We look forward to seeing you next November 14th for the new edition of the Grand Gala.
