A new international school has recently opened in Lugano: it is the  GIS campus – The International School of Lugano, in Via Senago 42 E. The inauguration brought together students, families, teachers and institutional representatives, on a day dedicated to the value of knowledge and the central role of education in building a peaceful and productive future not only for individuals, but for the entire community.

The new campus reflects GIS's philosophy, based on five key words: excellence, human principles, global citizenship, multilingualism e continuous learning.
According to Dr. Emanuela Ferloni, Educational Director of the GIS Group, the school aims to “create a dynamic and gentle learning environment, where local roots are intertwined with an international vision.”

The ribbon-cutting ceremony, greeted by a long round of applause, officially marked the opening of the campus, followed by a social gathering and activities designed for children, culminating in a meeting with the school mascot.
