In the presence of the American Ambassador in Bern, Edward McMullen, on Wednesday 21 October at the Tecnopolo Ticino in Manno, DAC System SA signed a contract for several million dollars with Dielectric, a leading US company in the production of radio and television antennas. This important commercial relationship is synonymous with growth for “a Ticino that is becoming more and more international”, according to the director of the economy division of the Canton of Ticino, Stefano Rizzi. DAC System is in fact an innovative Ticino startup that has developed the only existing monitoring system to date that responds to a clear need in the broadcast world of large radio and TV transmission towers. The system in question is able to detect in real time the status of the signal quality of large towers (over 500 meters high) in order to then be able to prevent failures that are often catastrophic, causing enormous costs and safety risks. DAC System thus provides the solution to save time and money in maintenance and repair while guaranteeing the safety of the towers. During the press conference, the creator and CEO of the startup, Pietro Casati, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership agreement reached: "the meeting with the Dielectric company dates back to almost four years ago - says Casati - for about two years we collaborated to improve technological development and in November 2019 the new and only monitoring system in the world for TV and radio antennas called RFKWHAKEYE was born ". Despite the coronavirus crisis that has also affected the world economy, in June DAC System and Dielectric signed a multimillion-dollar agreement lasting 5 years which provides, for the entire North American market, starting from 2020, an agreement of technological partnership and exclusive distribution of a patented monitoring system, unique in the world, called RFHAKWEYE which is based on the same technology used in nuclear particle accelerators. This contract will guarantee DAC System the opportunity to grow and establish an important presence in the US market.
