Immobiliare Pharmapark SA of Barbengo recently inaugurated its new generation photovoltaic system.
The installation, positioned on the roof of the buildings distributed in the perimeter representing the industrial complex, is made up of 1.210 photovoltaic panels which cover a total surface area of 4.000 square metres.
Thanks to the maximum power output reached by the system, 525 kWp, measured according to the sector's reference energy protocol, this installation is now able to ensure an annual energy production that can reach 550 MWh.
This means, recalls Giancarlo Ghirlanda, president of Unipharma SA, that thanks to the newly inaugurated plant, Pharmapark today it is able to satisfy up to 10% per year of the overall energy expenditure of the companies of which it is the leader, and which we find as co-financiers of the project: Cerbios-Pharma, Unione Farmaceutica Distribuzione, Unipharma, Phargentis.
