Salvatore Restuccia, founder and owner of FinextraSalvatore Restuccia, you've completed important projects in Italy and Switzerland. What recent work would you like to share with us today?

"In Chiasso, on Via Ai Crotti, construction of a four-story private villa was recently completed. It was a significant project and the client was particularly attentive to the choice of high-quality materials and the adoption of solutions that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The assignment was Finextra It included the design, the acquisition of materials, the control of all the executive phases and the installation of all the internal and external windows and doors.

What specific requests did you have to meet?

The brief primarily focused on high-quality, long-lasting windows and doors, and the choice fell on high-quality, high-performance solutions and finishes with a significant visual impact. For this purpose, we chose Finstral's Fin-Project, a system of aluminum windows and French windows that combines the elegance of aluminum with the high thermal insulation performance of PVC. The core of the profile is PVC, while the exterior, and sometimes even the interior, is clad in aluminum. This allows for aesthetically pleasing windows that are weather-resistant and offer excellent thermal insulation. We also specified the use of large-scale glazing specifically installed on site.

Salvatore Restuccia, founder and owner of FinextraYou've also chosen cutting-edge solutions for your interior windows and doors.

Indeed. Inside, we chose glass doors with a rigorous design, understated yet effective minimalist solutions. Garofoli's G-Like interior doors are ideal for creating bright spaces with clean lines, using both glass models with a very thin aluminum profile and flush-fitting models with smooth or trimmed doors. Our interior design project also included the design of coordinated furnishings, creating space and niche closures with flush-fitting cabinets.

The work done to build this villa clearly exemplifies the importance and quality of your presence in Ticino. Alongside your Como office, how is the Mendrisio branch organized?

«After initially establishing a sales outlet in Mendrisio, within a few years we opened a fully-fledged showroom, which will soon be completely expanded and renovated. We serve a wide range of clients, from individuals with specific needs for their homes to entire properties, for which we assume full responsibility for the production of exterior and interior windows and doors. We represent major, market-leading manufacturers who supply custom-made windows and doors for our clients, for whom we oversee every phase of the project, from consulting on material selection, to design and ordering, to final installation inside the building.

Our expertise is particularly appreciated both for the quality of the materials we offer and the technological solutions we implement, not least the use of subframes, a crucial element in window and door installation, as they ensure proper installation and performance. Furthermore, the Ticino market is renowned for our availability and flexibility in offering customized solutions for each client.
