Ars Medica Centro dello Sport, in Manno, once again stands out as a point of reference in the medical-sports field. The Swiss Sports Medicine Society (SEMS) has officially recognized the center as the only place for postgraduate training in sports medicine in the Canton of Ticino.

SEMS, committed to promoting high-quality hands-on training in sports medicine, has designated the clinic as the ideal location for advanced physician training. According to the SEMS directives, the doctors in training at Ars Medica will be supported by the structure's sports doctors, allowing them to gain direct practical experience with athletes from different sports disciplines.

“The Ars Medica Sports Center – says Prof. Guido Garavaglia, responsible for training – was born with the aim of offering global assistance to athletes of all levels. Being able to train future sports doctors is an achievement that is deeply gratifying to us.”

“Already in 2022 – adds the Medical Director of the Sports Centre, Dr. Marco Marano (in the photo) – Swiss Olympic has recognized our commitment and role as a leader in the management of athletes. Now being a training center for future sports doctors adds further prestige to our facility.”

This new certification joins others already obtained by Ars Medica Clinic, recognized for hand surgery, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery. The quality and professionalism of the specialist figures present in the structure are confirmed, consolidating the reputation of the center as one of the best in Switzerland.

The Ars Medica Clinic, part of the Swiss Medical Network, is one of the main private groups of clinics and hospitals in Switzerland. Recognized as a center of excellence in orthopedic surgery, traumatology and sports medicine, Ars Medica continues to stand out for the quality of the services offered and for its commitment to training, thus contributing significantly to the healthcare landscape of Italian Switzerland.
