A Lugano, on the facade of the building in Via G. Cattori 14, a new chapter of “Astro Credy” takes shape, the artistic project promoted by Credinvest BankAfter more than a year of exhibition and transformations visible to the public, the work is being renewed, marking a symbolic and visual transition that accompanies the evolution of the banking institution.
The intervention always bears the signature of Yuri Catania, an artist known for a language that intertwines human, natural, and technological elements. The project, spanning approximately 550 square meters across six floors, is structured as a constantly evolving narrative of images.
From Conquest to Presence: The Meaning of the Moon
A central element of the new phase is the shift in the moon's position, which from a lateral element becomes the protagonist on the main façade. The change is not merely aesthetic: the message evolves from a striving toward the goal ("To the Moon") to a state of arrival ("On the Moon").
This passage summarizes a broader trajectory. The journey of "Astro Credy" unfolded over 422 days, marked by progressive transformations. The Moon thus becomes a metaphor for a goal achieved through gradual growth, investment, and consolidation.
A year of expansion and recognition
Parallel to the artistic evolution, Credinvest Bank has undergone a significant development phase. Over the last twelve months, the institute has recorded an increase in staff of more than 15%, accompanied by the opening of new operational spaces in the city centre and the launch of strategic collaborations.
Internationally, the bank has received significant recognition: the "Strongest Growing Private Bank" award for growth in the segment of institutions with assets under €20 billion, and the "Switzerland's Best for Client Service" title at the Euromoney Awards in London. These two indicators reflect a strategy focused on innovation, service quality, and strengthening market presence.
The figure of the female astronaut
At the center of the composition remains the face of the female astronaut, a distinctive element of the entire project. Her image, imposing and framed by spring flowers, represents the striving for new horizons but also the rootedness of declared values: equality, inclusion, and attention to relationships.
The iconographic choice also recalls a broader theme: that of female space exploration. While missions that will land a woman on the Moon still belong to the future, the work symbolically anticipates this scenario, offering a concrete representation already in the urban space of Lugano.
Technique and implementation
From a technical standpoint, “Astro Credy” is made with a combination of mixed media art. Production and installation were curated by Tipack Group SA, a company based in agno, confirming the desire to involve local expertise in a project of great visual impact.
The work stands out for its scale and its ability to engage with the architecture, transforming the façade into a narrative medium that evolves over time.
A look into the future
The evolution of “Astro Credy” is part of a broader phase of transformation for Credinvest Bank, which is looking to new markets and investing in advanced technologies. Expanding its teams and focusing on the needs of a changing customer base are the cornerstones of a strategy geared towards sustainable growth.
In this context, art becomes not just a decorative element but a communication tool: a language capable of translating an entrepreneurial vision into images. The moon that now dominates the main façade is not only a symbol of ambition, but also the representation of a journey that, at least for now, seems to have reached its destination.
