Salvatore Restuccia, founder and owner of FinextraSalvatore Restuccia, what are the elements that distinguish your design approach?

"Surely Finextra It has the ability to integrate quality materials and advanced technological solutions. We collaborate with market-leading companies that produce custom windows and doors, but the real added value lies in how they are integrated into the architecture. In Ticino, we are appreciated precisely for this attention to detail and for our flexibility in offering customized solutions.

Let's talk about the Locarno Residence: what kind of work did you carry out?

"This was a major project, in which we contributed significantly to the definition of Finstral windows, including "Fin-Window" and "Fin-project" windows, French doors, and sliding doors. These are high-performance aluminum-aluminum and PVC-aluminum windows, with a minimalist aesthetic, structural safety, and maximum energy efficiency."

One of the most distinctive elements is the large glass wall. Can you describe it to us?

Salvatore Restuccia, founder and owner of Finextra,

"It is undoubtedly one of the most representative projects. It consists of a glass surface measuring approximately thirty linear meters and almost three meters high, designed to provide maximum brightness to the interior spaces without compromising insulation and comfort. We worked on high-performance sliding systems, with a low threshold and design details such as integrated handles. The result is a wall that amplifies the perception of space and creates visual continuity between interior and exterior, while maintaining excellent thermal performance."

Besides the windows and doors, did you also contribute to other functional elements of the building?

"Yes, the project was complex and comprehensive. We installed reinforced aluminum entrances with laminated safety glass, designed to combine protection and durability. We also integrated shading systems and glass parapets, which contribute to both security and the overall cleanliness of the building. The goal was to create a coherent language among all the elements, maintaining a balance between aesthetics, living comfort, and technical reliability."

What does a project like this mean to you?

"It's a concrete demonstration of how technical expertise and design sensibility can work together. Projects like the Residenza Locarno clearly illustrate our approach: not simply providing products, but contributing to the overall quality of architecture through solutions designed to last."
