Thirty years in business is a significant milestone. What's the first memory that comes to mind when you think back to the beginning of MG Immobiliare, and how has the market changed since then?
«Thinking back to the beginning of MG Real EstateThe first memory that comes to mind is of a more direct market, built on personal knowledge, trust, and a promise. Human relationships were at the heart of every negotiation, and this aspect has remained one of the cornerstones of our business.
The market has changed significantly in thirty years: today's clients are more informed, international, and attentive to advice. What hasn't changed is the importance of trust: even in a more digital market, personal relationships continue to make the difference. MG Immobiliare's strength lies in growing and innovating without losing its identity.
Over the course of this long journey, what experiences or operations have you considered most significant, both professionally and personally?
«In thirty years there have been many important operations, from Casarico Park in From Parco Letizia to Residenza Le Vigne and Residenza Golden Hill, our most significant experiences, however, are those where we've successfully established a genuine relationship of trust with our clients. Our role goes beyond simple intermediation: we become consultants and points of reference.
I'm proud to have helped meet the needs of entire families. The best result is seeing customers return to us or entrust new generations to us."
You recently started a collaboration with Barnes International Realty: what does this partnership mean to you and what new prospects does it open up on the international market?
"The partnership with BARNES International Realty represents an important and natural step in MG Immobiliare's growth journey. After thirty years in the region, we felt the need to strengthen our international reach while maintaining strong local roots.
BARNES is a globally recognized brand in the luxury real estate sector, with a qualified network and a positioning consistent with the segment we serve. This allows us to offer greater visibility, access to an international clientele, and better property valuation. This partnership doesn't change our identity: it strengthens it. Thirty years ago, while I was taking my first steps in the agency, my wife Mary, my partner and key figure, gave birth to Gianluca. Today, Gianluca joins the company, bringing innovation, continuity, responsibility, and a fresh perspective.
A future we are also building thanks to a new team of young, well-prepared and dynamic collaborators, who share our values and represent the energy with which we want to continue growing."
Looking to the future, how do you imagine the real estate market will evolve in the coming years, and what role will MG Immobiliare play in this scenario?
I believe the real estate market will become increasingly selective: quality properties will continue to play a central role, while the market will increasingly depreciate undervalued properties. Customers will be more attentive to sustainability, energy efficiency, architectural quality, privacy, and quality of life. Ticino retains extraordinary potential: security, scenic beauty, services, and a strategic location.
MG Immobiliare's role will be to continue to be a point of reference for serious and personalized consultancy, with increasingly international tools and relationships.
The future will be based on experience, innovation, and relationships: the experience gained, the innovation of new generations, and the quality of human relationships.
Your thirtieth anniversary was celebrated with a special dinner at the Moncucchetto Restaurant: what did this event mean to you, and how important is it, in a business journey, to share milestones with collaborators and customers?
Our thirtieth anniversary was an emotional moment for me, both as an entrepreneur and as a person. Celebrating thirty years means realizing how far we've come and how many relationships we've built. We wanted to celebrate this milestone with our historic golf tournament and a special dinner at the Moncucchetto Restaurant. It wasn't just a celebratory event, but an opportunity to thank the customers, collaborators, partners, and friends who have been part of our history. In a business, results are never achieved alone. Sharing this moment was the most beautiful way to value the past and the future.
For me, the thirtieth anniversary isn't a point of arrival, but a new beginning. Thanks also to Gianluca and the new team, we're entering a more international, ambitious, and quality-oriented phase."
