From 30 March to 30 May 2024, art lovers will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a world of colours, emotions and reflections at the prestigious Majid Foundation in Ascona. The Ticino painter Alexandra von Burg brings to light her latest creation, entitled “Elixir of Spring”, a personal exhibition that enchants and inspires.

With almost seventy works of large, medium and small format, Alexandra von Burg exhibits the fruit of two years of fervent creativity. The central theme of this collection is Nature, interpreted through a new and profound gaze. In this context, the series dedicated to Water Lilies emerges as a novelty, inspired by the artist's participation in the collective exhibition in honor of the Swiss painter Luigi Rossi.

The flowers, symbols of vitality and rebirth, become lively protagonists and capture attention with their vibrant colors and the elegant movement of the corollas. Sea views, on the other hand, transport viewers to pristine landscapes, inviting them to reflect on their personal experience of facing wild and untamed nature.

But “Spring Elixir” is more than a simple exhibition of works of art; it is an invitation to contemplation and rediscovery of the beauty that surrounds us. Through her paintings, Alexandra von Burg inspires us to embrace the joy and enchantment of creation, encouraging us to find an individual well-being that we wish to share with others.

The meeting with the artist, scheduled for Saturday 6 April, offers a unique opportunity to delve deeper into the vision and inspiration behind the works on display. With his presence, von Burg transforms the exhibition into an interactive and engaging experience for the public.
